It begins
with a brief phone call
A conversation about what’s been difficult and whether working together may be a good fit.
You’re welcome to reach out for a brief welcome call if you’re considering therapy. I’m based in Santa Monica and offer in-person sessions, with telehealth available across California. I currently have limited Saturday availability for new clients.
You can book a welcome call below:
What to expect
Welcome calls are complimentary and last about 15 minutes.
During the call, we may talk about:
what has been most difficult recently
what you are hoping might change through therapy
whether my practice aligns with your needs
practical questions about scheduling and fees
The purpose of the call is simply to see whether working together may be a good fit. If it seems that another provider or level of care would better support your needs, I will do my best to help guide you toward appropriate resources.
I work as an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. Many clients choose to use out-of-network benefits, and I’m happy to provide documentation for reimbursement when applicable.
Areas of Focus
I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating challenges such as:
concerns about a child’s emotional, behavioral, or attentional development
family-building and early parenting, including adoption, infertility, and pregnancy loss
relationships that feel stuck in patterns of conflict or disconnection
depression that has lasted for years and hasn’t responded to traditional treatment (e.g., CBT).
burnout, perfectionism, and the pressures of high-performing roles
While these are areas of particular focus in my practice, I also work with a broader range of concerns affecting adults, couples, and children. If you’re unsure whether therapy with me would be helpful, we can briefly talk through what you’re looking for during the consultation call
