It begins
with a brief phone call
I have limited availability for new clients on Saturdays. If you’re interested in therapy, please reach out to schedule a brief introductory call.
Call or text: (424) 352-7600
Starting therapy is an important step, and many people find it helpful to begin with a brief conversation.
You’re welcome to reach out even if you’re unsure whether therapy would be helpful. If you’re interested in couples therapy but aren’t sure your partner is ready yet, you’re also welcome to call.
During the call we can briefly discuss what you’re looking for and whether working together may be a good fit. If so, we can discuss next steps for scheduling an initial appointment.
What to expect
Introductory calls are complimentary and last about 15 minutes.
During the call we may talk about:
what has been most difficult recently
what you are hoping might change through therapy
whether my practice aligns with your needs
practical questions about scheduling and fees
These calls are intended to determine fit rather than provide therapeutic advice. If it seems that another provider or level of care would better support your needs, I will do my best to help guide you toward appropriate resources.
Areas of Focus in My Practice
I primarily work with individuals, couples, and families navigating:
depression that has lasted for years
relationship distress and recurring conflict cycles
adoption, early parenting, infertility, pregnancy loss
children’s emotional, behavioral, and attentional functioning
burnout, perfectionism, and the pressures of a high-performance job
While these are areas of particular focus in my practice, I also work with a range of other concerns with adults, couples, and children. If you’re unsure whether therapy with me would be helpful, we can briefly discuss what you’re looking for during the introductory call.
